Job Title: Customer & Marketing Executive

Location: Portishead

Salary: between £15,000 - £16,000

Location

This post is based at our Headquarters in Portishead, but the post holder may be occasionally required to travel on business throughout the Region and across the UK as the need arises.

Role Overview

The Customer & Marketing Executive provides support to the company and its Directors and associates within the various functions carried out in the UK and across worldwide, in particular, efficiently and effectively coordinating day to day business arrangements and running of a busy office.

The post holder will also be the external and internal point of contact for a wide range of enquiries relating to the various functions of the company and will be expected to establish good working relationships with Directors, Associates, Suppliers and Customers.

Organisational Relationships

The Customer & Marketing Executive is directly accountable to the Operations Director for the overall performance of the role and for support to the rest of the team. There will necessarily be considerable liaison with Directors and Associates, most of whom are away on short and long term assignments at any one time.

Principal Responsibilities

The post holder's principal responsibilities and main areas of work are as indicated below.

  • Organising training events and material despatch around the UK and worldwide
  • Dealing with and processing enquires
  • Organising and attending promotional events
  • Preparation and despatch of marketing materials
  • Supporting field consultants and trainers as required
  • Bid Development and Coordination
  • Book keeping and finance tracking
  • Maintenance of Training/Customer Database
  • Management of client relationships and contracts
  • Develop and implement computer based and manual systems, records and files,
  • Assist with administration of Quality policies and procedures i.e. update quality manuals and circulate across the team.
  • Deal with general enquiries rom associates on the application of quality policies and procedures by providing relevant information.
  • Ensure all systems, records and files are maintained and updated properly and accurately, reviewing and monitoring this on a weekly basis.

General

  • Undertake any reasonable duties allocated by the Directors
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures, with particular reference to those involving Risk/Health and Safety, Dignity at Work/Equal Opportunities, and IT Security

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Minimum of 5-8 years experience of working in busy office environment
  • Using SAGE accounting (training may be available)
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • IT Literate - particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint

Qualifications

  • A book keeping qualification would be an advantage
